La 15 Museum Park is a project that aims to transform a central lot in Santa Ana into an innovative public space that combines history, culture, and recreation. Through participatory workshops with the local community and key stakeholders—including NGOs, developers, historians, and local government—needs and opportunities for the area were identified. The final design included modular structures that highlight the neighborhood’s history, landscaping with native plants, and the incorporation of a community garden. Additionally, recreational and gathering spaces were designed to foster connections between residents and their surroundings. Currently, the project is in its initial construction phase and serves as a model of how participatory design can significantly revitalize urban spaces.
