Located at the intersection of commerce and a semi-public space, our contribution to the El Patio project was to create an experience that meets the needs of residents and pet owners. Based on interviews and surveys, key insights were identified that defined aspects of the project, from the pet breeds represented in the artwork to the strategic layout of the commercial spaces. With the support of strategic partnerships and recycled materials, unique furniture was designed that combines functionality and sustainability. This space reflects the community’s aspirations and creates an environment that connects social interaction, local commerce, and conscious design.
