To address this issue, we held participatory workshops with the community to identify the main destinations and risk points within the neighborhood. The resulting design incorporated 1.7 km of a tactical bike lane painted on the pavement, a bus stop for employees, street furniture such as bike racks and benches, and an on-site communication strategy to promote slow and alternative mobility.
