This project, developed for the social innovation center La Manzana, aimed to design and build street furniture using recycled materials. The furniture was conceived as versatile elements for events such as ReCREO en Tu Calle, as well as for subsequent events held at La Manzana, including Panama Fashion Week and the International Film Festival (IFF). Through a collaboration with a local company, recycled plastic crates were obtained to serve as the basis for the modular design, and construction took place in a fablab. The result was modular benches and planters made entirely from recycled materials, demonstrating how sustainable design can breathe new life into diverse spaces and events over time.
