This workshop brought together 70 young people with the goal of developing a shared vision for the future of Panama City. Through a series of participatory activities, participants explored challenges and opportunities related to key issues such as housing, public services, community spaces, and the opportunities the city offers. The workshop’s results were synthesized into a series of short-, medium-, and long-term recommendations focused on promoting more inclusive and sustainable urban development. These proposals were presented as strategic inputs for the development of a government plan by a mayoral candidate in Panama City, establishing the workshop as an example of effective citizen participation.
